Hello! I'm Joanna, author of this photo journal. My husband, Mark, and I are professional photographers in Asheville, North Carolina. The name of our company, Tuesday's Frog, is based on an almost-wordless children's book about mischievous frogs that go flying on lily pads one night. We love this book because the illustrations are truly the heart of the story. Speaking of mischievous, Cole & Harper are our children, and frequent, though not always willing, photography subjects. Here you'll find not only the stories of our everyday lives, but of those we've photographed in our capacity as professional photographers as well.
Early the other morning I met up with Lauryn and her lovely family.
We stopped briefly to smell the flowers…
…but Lauryn is THREE now, and that means she much prefers to be on the go!

This is our sweet session album – it includes your choice of either 20 or 30 unmatted 5×7s and comes in a variety of colors (red, black, brown, pink, blue, and white). Beside the larger album is our cute mini album, which holds 10 favorite images.
This album features reinforced metal corners for extra durability. (We love our Lydia!)
Finally, an example of a freebie (a customized 2010 calendar) that made its way into several client bags/boxes these past few months. I don’t know about you, but I love freebies!
Hey you! Adorable boy – did you really decide to grow up on me?
I can hardly believe that baby Helms is one! Actually, one and one month, to be exact. His birthday is in January but we were forced to postpone his portrait session for several weeks due to consecutive weekend snowstorms.
Oh, yeah, he’s workin’ it now! We loved that little hat…even though he really did not!
Big sister Grace is looking beautiful herself! (We didn’t pose her this way, by the way! She just decided to be cooperative, a fact which we definitely celebrated.)
We couldn’t have asked for a better blue sky day!

I love, love, love this sweet canvas which came through this week (sized at 20 x 30.)
I particularly like the texture and the fact that it stands out about 1.5 inches from the wall to give it presence. It really is a work of art for your wall!
